| The Staff Appreciation Committee is charged with the organizing and promoting
events that give the Staff the chance to be appreciated for their hard work and
dedication to the University enjoy giving staff the chance to kick back with
good food and friends, a chance to relax, have fun, and to be recognized. We
began as the Staff Development committee, but as Human Resources
took over more responsibility for the Development and advancement of
staff in their careers, it became our charge to develop more outlet
for appreciation event. The Annual Staff Picnic began as a part of Appreciation efforts by the Staff Development committee, and grew to such scope that it required its own committee. For more information on it, go here! In our evolution, it has become our responsibility to collect nominations and select the Staff Awards historically presented at Convocation. We are also the committee to accept Applications for the Staff Council Scholarship! We are always looking for people to assist in our planning, developing, and manning our events.
